Cox says that there are no outages in my area but I have not been able to get a link. Modem boots normally up until the online light should come on, it blinks for longer than normal on that step then the DS and link lights flash amber and the cycle starts over. After the second cycle the online light stays on but there is no link light.
Cox had me do the following, swap ethernet cables, reboot modem a few times with router on and off, plug directly into my PC. They are able to reboot it remotely so some signal is getting through. They seem to think the ethernet port went out, but I don't even think it is getting that far into the process.
