Past month I've been battling some pretty nasty packet loss and connection issues. The first go around I called cox and attempted to argue with their tech support over the phone until they decided to send out a truck. The tech ran a new line outside the house and to the pole and of course at the time of diagnosing the problem "didn't see anything wrong so decided to run new equipment". I don't have TV and I have just one line that's directly from the box outside to my modem. No splitters or any other lines involved. My speeds seem to be uneffected, I'm getting the 60Mbps/9Mbps regardless before or after the drop of connection.
At this point I'm getting EXTREMELY tired of this crap. 80$ a month and I cannot even game online without consistent drops every few hours. Even web pages time out. I've ran a smoke ping this past weekend to hopefully show proof of the issue. I also took my router out of the equation.
Is there any way to escalate this issue beyond the normal tech that answers the phone? The hassle of explaining the problem over and over again gets old quick. Not to mention the whole I'll dispatch a truck, who won't be around when the problem happens so its a waste of time.. And honestly at this point, I'd almost rather just ditch the service and go with a slower internet provider if it means a more stable connection.

EDIT: I should add that I have lived in this location for three years. And the past few months this problem has started. I didn't change anything in this time period at all. I even purchased a new router thinking it was the problem before I totally just removed it from the link up.
