After stuck with TWC for over 13 years, I decided to give Cox a try. I ordered Advanced Economy package because it seems has a good balance that I need. I ordered the mini box because it can cover the TV essential stations and Advanced Economy has less TV channels than the essential. At least this is the guy in Cox show room told me. However, when I talked to people over the phone, the ladies told me if I has this program without full receiver, I cannot access TV channels beyond the starter package, i.e., beyond channel 17, with the mini box. This does not sound right to me but they insisted this is true. Can anybody tell me what they said is true or my understanding is correct. Thanks in advance.
