Looking to get a new modem but I don't know which one to get that will benefit me most on Cox. Right now I have a Cisco DPC3010 DOCSIS 3.0 that I believe is 8x4 channels. Would it benefit me to get anything better? Is this old yet?
Reason is because my kid wants needs a modem so I figured I could give this one and use this opportunity to get myself a new one ;) But if this one is just as good as any that I would be getting then I might as well just get another one of the same for them.
So is it worth it to upgrade and if so what would be a good upgrade?
Are there more channels now?
Do I need like a 16x8 or something?
