Anyone else having problems with the TG2472G, after two days of headaches and troubleshooting I found out that the Arris Touchstone TG2472G modem was the problem. I knew better than to get a cable modem that had built-in wireless, but I thought it would be good since most reviews indicated that it was a good piece of hardware. After two months the wireless signal began to have issues and the wired ports were having issues as well, the modem would barely function with download speeds of 14Mbps despite being on the ultimate tier. Called cox to see if they could help, but still the issues were not resolved.
I finally decided to hook back up the Cisco DPQ3212 cable modem, after having Cox add the modem to the network I noticed that the download speeds were 200+Mbps down and 22Mbps up. Thank you Cisco for making a reliable modem that I can always trust.
