First time poster so I have no idea if this is the right category or not. I've never worked with coax cables before so excuse my lack of knowledge.
I recently decided to move my modem/router elsewhere in my house. To do so I needed to run a new coax cable from the box to my desk. I used some cable Cox left when they installed it a few years back. But my speeds are now 10Mbps down (should be 50).
I noticed this cable is different than the rest in the house. The new cable is 18awg 9900963 BMU 150V. The rest of the house has 18awg CATV copper clad steel. I also have an extra reel of the CATV, should I be using that instead?
If so, what type of connectors should I put on?
