I've been having a problem for basically the entire 2 years I have lived at my current residence. Intermittently, the cable modem will drop connection and reboot. It usually happens about once or twice a day. I've had techs out several times and the issue never seems to get fixed. Any other suggestions? My house is older, so is there a chance they need to do a new drop? How would I actually get them to look at their own equipment or possible doing a new drop?
There is definitely no interior wiring problem, because the cable literally comes from the utility pole, across the side of the house, and then through a hole in the wall directly into my modem.
