Hello and Happy New Year everyone!
Can someone please advise me on the best way to proceed from this point?
Here's the situation. Not too long after the sun goes down these winter days, my HSI goes out and all of my HDTV channels disappear, (Like channel 7.2), although I still have analog channels. History Channel, Syfy, local ..etc. When the sun comes out, everything comes back. I have no problems during the warmer weather.
I have COX TV Essential, Cox HSI Preferred, no cable box. Brand new modem, CISCO DPC3010, installed last month and a year-old HDTV.
Super-nice Cox Techs dispatched 4 times in the past 2 months. Checked the lines inside and out, replaced a few components in the box across the street and blanketed the neighborhood checking everything. They changed out the splitters and replaced the connectors on each visit. Signals show green during the warmer daytime temperatures. Each time my Techs said they had resolved the issue. But it still persists.
My neighbor across the street says he's got the same problem, but he just kind of lives with it.
Any ideas on how to proceed? Should I just keep calling for Techs to come out? Is it possible to have a Tech dispatched earlier than 8:00AM when the temperatures are lower for an easier troubleshoot?
Thank you for any help you can provide.
