This extensive tiling problem with audio-interruption began many weeks ago. It begins mid-evening hours and intensifies through the PM and corresponding AM hours only, estimating 7:PM gradually intensifying to full visual/audio interruption/distortion by Midnite, then continues intensely through est. 7:AM and then modifies toward corrected by 9:AM.
This distorts/affects all channels, including Premiums and OnDemand, with the odd exception of not affecting 2, 4, 5, 7. Everything above that is affected.
Have had several service calls, including last one yesterday when cable/receiver box was exchanged for a newer one. Service tech left at 6:30 PM, "signal is great" and there appeared no visual and audio interruptions/distortions. By 7:30 PM, however, the "TILING GLITCH" recurred, first in only a few areas of rapid movement imagery (such as News-Reader running along bottom of FOX News, Weather, etc. and announcer's mouths when quickly speaking, or hand movements) then, as is the pattern of this abnormality, increased in TILING (Or, "pixilation") to fully distort the image and interrupt the audio to a point of no audio when TILING was at it's worst around Midnight).
No one can repair this so far. Outside junction, interior wiring and cable box and installation, all been inspected by tech visits, all have found nothing wrong. All inspect during daytime hours when functioning is normal. PROBLEM ONLY OCCURS IN PM HOURS and it reaches it's worst Midnight-to-2:AM then continues thru to daylight hours, eventually ceasing.
So far, COX can't find problem but it is preventing viewing and hearing of all digital channels on every PM cycle, ongoing and has been this bad for weeks now.
ADDED: interior is at constant temperature 24/7 by AC environment, no heat exhaust or exchange present such that it could affect box/tv/wiring, nothing new installed, have had COX at this location with same situation for about fifteen years; there's nothing interior that could affect installation in my residence, yet problem persists. Began about a few months ago with small glitching, has grown in past two months to be hugely disruptive.
