I just bought an Arris (Motorola) SB6183 yesterday and had it activated in anticipation of the 300 mbps upgrade for Ultimate tier here in the Fort Smith, AR area. Talked to Cox tech on phone and modem was provisioned on my account and works fine.
Question: This modem is supposed to be a 16x8 channel modem, but my status page only shows 12 active download and 4 active upload channels. Does this cable modem only show active channels or should it show all 16 down and 8 up on the status page?
