SNR downstream is 37-38dB on all 8 channels. Downstream signal level is 9-11dBmV on all channels.
Upstream power is 37-39dBmV on all 3 channels. (Cox only does 3-channel US bonding in this area with 1 channel being 5.120Msym/sec)
No splitters. No other cable devices in house. I have two home runs from wiring closet to demarc. Both give same results.
Page loading appears to pause or hang for several seconds, up to maybe a minute. This happens after browsing from a few seconds to 15 minutes then it's fine again for a minute or two. It'll sometimes stop loading midway through. Other times, a page will just not load. When it happens, nothing else will load.
First, I tried switching from a newer SB6183 to my older, known-good SB6141. No change.
I also tried using Cox's other DNS server as primary then tried 8.8.8.8. No change.
I tried running a ping -c 9999 to my modem and router while browsing. No packets dropped, no jitter. Everything's under 1ms. Even when page loads hang, the ping keeps running.
Te connection will run full Ultimate speeds with no problem on tests. I was seeing this with the modem plugged into my pfSense router and a switch. Tried straight to router, got same results. Tried straight to modem, got same results. Tried different computer straight to modem. Still get random pauses.
Correctables and uncorrectables are incrementing though. Attached screenshot is after 4-5 days. Both modems did this.
