Currently have Contour Whole House Cable and also internet. My question, the splitter in my house after the drop is a 3 way with two 3.5dB and one 7dB ports. I no longer need one of the 3.5dB ports so I've capped it off. The 7dB runs straight to my cable modem. The other 3.5dB runs to an amplifier and then out to my TVs. My signals are alright on my internet modem currently. Would it behoove me to swap out the splitter to a two way that has 2 3.5dB ports? I happen to have one handy or if it's not broke don't mess with it.
