I have been trying since November 19, 2014 to get service connected at my new house in Clifton, VA. The Cox connection terminates on a utility pole 500 feet from my house which is at the end of a street serviced only by Cox communications. I submitted three serviceability requests only to learn that the house cannot be serviced without a plant extension. I requested a cost estimate for a plant extension from Cox on February 24, 2015 and have called back twice but cannot get anyone from the construction department to return my calls just to provide an estimate of what it will cost, how long it will take, and when to expect service. We are moving to the home next month and desperately need HSI connected to run our home business. When I call, they just send another request and the process starts over again. I've spent 7 hours and 45 minutes on the phone since November and worked through four different sales reps and two sales managers. What can I do???? I'm losing my mind over this. Please advise.
