I have a home biz account, works nicely most of the time.
In recent months city/state has been doing a lot of road construction nearby (but I'm not sure of signal flow path) that includes moving poles.
Since that started, I have an odd issue. Sometimes, with no pattern I can detect, my connection slows down. I'll get ping times to first hop upwards of 1000ms.
A modem power cycle (almost?) always fixes it.
I used to be a field tech, but that was . . . 4ish years ago. And the only tool I have to measure RF with at home is the mdm, and it's the only service I have.
Underground drop, rg-11 ~200ft. I have a db9 cutting signal so that mdm isn't too high. I still have a 2 way splitter too from when I'd grab the channels that the inet only filter couldn't block.
Mdm is a sb6141
Signal is -4/5 on all dwnstream channels & SNR is 37 except for channels 92 - 36SNR, 93 - 38SNR.
Upstream is 47/47/44/44
And there's this, which I don't recall how to read:
Channel ID 89 90 91 92 93 94 95 96
Total Unerrored Codewords 34870257 34311219 34248913 34223793 34170099 34505653 34146863 34538201
Total Correctable Codewords 35661 26274 33463 37130 40949 16 44457 17
Total Uncorrectable Codewords 225490 174573 238945 271305 294377 608 317952 669
Any thoughts?

Seems to have a work-around of QoS throttling to elimanate powerboost. I may try this unless someone else has a suggestion.
