I think this may be due to my modem, which is a Cisco DPC-3000 that I bought from Cox a few years ago. Although the link goes to gigabit according to my router, I'm only getting 100mbit reliably instead of the 150mbit advertised speed.
I've verified that the port on my router is indeed gigabit capable by plugging it into another device and doing an internal bandwidth test.
Does anybody know if the ethernet port on the DPC-3000 is capable of 150mbit speeds, or indeed if 4 channels being bonded is sufficient?
