Well I had Cox techs at my house from 10am to well after 1pm and after a lot of fuss and changing modems, routers and coax I'm still hovering around 35/up 20/down. I'm currently using a Motorola Surfboard SBG6580 modem/wifi and have been sent MULTIPLE speed files from Cox. I'm hoping someone can clarify how my next door neighbor with the same setup is nudging 100/up reliably and I am still at Premier speeds. I've called Motorola and they blame Cox. I called Cox again and they blame Motorola even though it's the same case with my old Netgear setup. I've tried to log into the Surfboard and tweak but no change in performance...
- Speeds tested multiple times through the day and on different devices.
- Using a DOCSIS 3.0 and setup through Cox for it on my account.
So yeah.... I was so stoked and now so bummed out :-/
