I've found a reliable way to crash my cable modem

So-- Trying to use the Amazon EC2 cli tools to upload and convert a disk image. The image is about 8GB and is broken into 10MB files for the upload. Best I can tell, the traffic is just https or it's at least TCP/443, uploading to S3. This has happened three or four times today: Once i start the upload, it goes for an indefinite amount of time, then my cable modem stops responding. No web UI, nothing. I have to power cycle it. Nothing in the logs between power cycles. Modem is a SB6120. I'm used to saturation of my outbound connection causing high latency, but this is a first. Any ideas? M Oh, and I should mention that the first time it happened it was within a minute of starting the upload.
