I have Ultimate Tier (150 down). 4 days ago noticed significant drop in D/L speed. Before consistent around 150Anesthesia
or above. Now ~30. Cisco DPC3010 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem. All speed tests Speedtest (dot)net. Pings 25-50 ms all scenarios.

Modem feeds Netgear N600 Router by Ethernet Cable
Troubleshooting:
1. Removed All additional connections. Cable from wall to Modem, Modem to Router by Ethernet, Ethernet to single computer. Wireless off. Speeds ~35. Power Levels still as indicated above.
2. Remove Router. Cable from wall to Modem. Modem to single computer by ethernet.
Speeds back up to ~135 but slowly climbs where before problems started immediately jumped to ~150 and stayed throughout test..
Suspect Router.
Replace Router with newly purchased Linksys WRT1900AC.
No change. Speeds ~35.
Suspect Ethernet cable between Modem and Router.
Replace cable with 2 different alternate known good cables.
No change.
I'm out of ideas on my part.
Haven't contacted Tech Support because my experience in the past is akin to having my wisdom teeth pulled without anesthesia so I want to be sure I've tried everything I can before making that dreaded call.
Any ideas are appreciated.
