Hi,
Before I begin, I'd just first like to state that I used to be a Tier 2 FSR and a Tier 2 Internet Tech Support Rep for Cox Communications from 1999 to 2005, so I'm confident that I may know a little bit more than the average user.
That said, I'm experiencing T3 errors starting around 2:30 PM and going on until 10 or 11 PM at night, and at no other times.
I believe the upstream is over-utilized causing the errors. I spoke with a Cox maintenance technician and he said that Cox is in the process of splitting my node.
My levels are sn 36, fwd 5, rev 36. I noticed yesterday that my modem was able to bond to only 1 upstream channel though today it is bonded to 4 upstream channels.
The modem is a Moto SB6121 with firmware SB_KOMODO-1.0.6.14-SCM01-NOSH.
Speaking with Tech Support is getting me no where.
I really wish the Maintenance Supervisor for my area can contact me and tell me if this is a subscriber count issue or not. It's OK if it is; I understand that any network grows and has to be managed. I just really want to know what's going on.
