We cancelled our TV service months ago (but kept our Cox HSI), and when a tech came out and added the filter, we discussed local channels and he said we definitely won't get anymore channels, even the local ones. I thought we had to get those, but whatever. Anyway, putting the cable straight into my Tv, I can still get local stations. But it seems like every few seconds there is massive blocking all over the screen and the audio glitches. But
Otherwise you can kinda watch TV.
Is Cox purposefully introducing errors somehow for these channels? I don't remember it being this way in the past when I didn't have TV service...
